The Skills section follows the Leadership section. It is not necessary to show every skill that you possess. Instead, you want to show the skills that are specific to your area of interest. It is okay to show skills that you have or are currently learning. It is not okay to show skills that you will acquire in the future. It is important to know that listing a skill doesn’t replace the need to take a specific course. For example, if you are a Computer Science major and you show that you know MySQL, you still need to take at least one database course.
Skills should be separated into categories. I have provided an example of a Skills section with more skills than any one person will have. This makes it much easier for the recruiter to understand the skills you have acquired.
